    2008IBELogo_small.jpg Presented in conjunction with Bowl Expo and the International Bowling and Pro Shop Instructors Association Educational Conference, the 2008 Coaches Summit portion of the week-long event will be held June 23-24 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando.

    The Coaches Summit will feature notable coaches and pro shop operators presenting exciting and informative educational sessions, including:

    Monday, June 23
    • "The Next Level: Advanced Work in the Mental Game," Dr. Dean Hinitz, 10:15 - 11:45 a.m.

    Tuesday, June 24
    • "Establishing a Collegiate Bowling Program," Kim Terrell, 8:45-10:15 a.m.
    • "Weeding your Mental Flower Garden," Gordon Vadakin, 10:30 a.m.-Noon
    • "Coaches Guide to Matching Equipment," Bill Monce, 1:15-2:45 p.m.
    • "Idea Exchange," Bill Monce, 3-4:30 p.m.

    More than 45 educational workshops will be offered at Bowl Expo covering:

    • Pro shop business
    • Marketing and management
    • Food and beverage sales
    • Lanes and equipment
    • Small centers
    • Youth bowling
    • Much more

    Jones Loflin, author of the book Juggling Elephants, will deliver the keynote address on Monday, June 23 from 1:15-2:30 p.m. Loflin's engaging and humorous program will offer participants strategies to become more focused and productive.

    The early registration (before May 23) fee is just $299 which includes admission to the Bowl Expo trade show, welcome reception and several educational seminars including the IBPSIA Educational Conference. Several optional events require additional fees.

    USBC coaching certification courses planned
    USBC will present a Level I coaching course June 19 and Bronze and Silver coaching conferences June 19-21 in Orlando at the International Plaza Resort and Spa, with on-lanes portions of the courses at AMF Sky Bowl.
