Doyle, a 17-year-old high school student, and Pluhowsky, who will be looking to win the event for a record third time, will head to the Sam's Town Bowling Center in Las Vegas for the World Cup.

Team USA squad for 2015 Women's World Championships announced

TeamUSALogo_small.jpgThe Team USA squad has been selected for the 2015 WTBA Women's World Championships that will take place Dec. 5-14 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. While Danielle McEwan of Stony Point, New York, will make her first appearance in a World Championships, five of the six Team USA members selected by the Team USA coaching staff were on the squad for the 2013 event. Bowling fans will be able to watch the action live from the Khalifa International Bowling Center on BOWL.com's BowlTV.

The Championships for women will be held from December 5-13 at Khalifa International Bowling Center in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As of today, 30 of 109 member federations of the World Tenpin Bowling Association (WTBA) have registered for event. WTBA extends entry deadline for 2015 Women's World Championships until November 1st

28 of the 123 member federations of World Bowling have registered for the Dec. 5-14 event

2011WTBALogo_small.jpg The 2015 Women's World Championships will be held from Saturday, December 5 to Monday, December 13, at Khalifa International Bowling Center in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Bulletin No. 1 was released in April 2015. As of today, only 28 of the 123 member federations of World Bowling have registered for event. Therefore the World Tenpin Bowling Association (WTBA) and the host Emirates Bowling Federation (EBF) have extended the entry deadline until November 1st.

Conclude 2015 World Seniors Championships in Las Vegas with victory in women's and men's Masters competition

Olsson defeated Lucy Sandelin of the United States, 222-184, in the women's title match, while Singles champion Frawley captured his second gold medal of the event with a 269-222 victory over Lennie Boresch Jr. of the United States in the men's finals.

United States sweeps team gold at 2015 World Seniors Championships

John Chapman (Canada) and Lucy Sandelin (United States) win gold in All-Events; top 24 men and women advance to Sunday's Masters finals

In the men's final, the U.S. took advantage of some early miscues by Australia as they coasted to an 887-675 victory at Sam's Town Bowling Center in Las Vegas. The women's gold-medal match went down to the final frame, with the U.S. outlasting Mexico, 785-754.

Swede defeats fellow countrywoman Susanne Olsson for the gold medal, 205-181; defending champion Lucy Sandelin (USA) and Tuula Tamminen (FIN) share bronze

The 51-year-old right-hander got off to an early advantage in the championship match against top seed Todd Sim of Canada and never looked back, claiming the gold medal with a 224-183 victory at Sam's Town Bowling Center. Sim earned the silver meda, while Alan Keddie, Scotland, and John Chapman, Canada, both earned bronze medals.

To be eligible for the second edition of the championships, players must be born December 31st, 1965 or before.

Incorporated in the campaign for inclusion, World Bowling highlight the sport's unique mix of performance and participation, its ability to reach new audiences and the sport's provision of a very strong platform for national and regional promotion within Japan. After two days of interviewing, World Bowling President Kevin Dornberger feels optimistic about the process.

The 35-year-old will represent Brazil in 51st QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup to be held Nov. 13-20, 2015 at Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. In the two-game championship match, Squad A leader Pizzoli posted games of 217 and 239 to fly past B Squad leader Rafael Silva, 456-263, to earn his ticket to Las Vegas.

Tokyo 2020 OC Chairman says Bowling could be the No. 1 sport to be proposed for inclusion

IBMA Hall of Famer Hero Noda has informed Bowlingdigital.com that the chairman of the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee, Mr. Mori, mentioned to Japanese Media that Bowling could be in first position to be proposed to the IOC for inclusion at the Games of the XXXII Olympiad (Tokyo 2020). Mr. Mori added that Bowling is a popular and enjoyable sport for both people with and without disabilities.
