By winning his EBT record 16th career title (Finland's two-hander Osku Palermaa is second with 13 titles) and his first Professional Bowlers Association title, the 36-year-old lefty earned the 13.000 Euro top prize and took the early lead in the 2015 men's point ranking.

The World Tenpin Bowling Association has released Bulletin No. 1 for the 2nd World Seniors Championships which will be held Aug. 23-30, 2015 at 56-lane Sam' Town Bowling Center inside Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. To participate in the second edition of the championships for men and women 50 years of age and above, players must be born December 31st, 1965 or before.

The Executive Board of World Bowling Tenpin, the governing body of the sport of Tenpin Bowling, has decided the dates for 2015 Women's World Championships at the board meeting December 15-16 in Abu Dhabi following the 2014 Men's World Championships. The 5th WWC, which is contested every four years, will be held from December 4-13, at Khalifa International Bowling Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE. World Bowling Congress and Tenpin Bowling Congress will immediately follow the Championships on Dec. 14-15.
The World Bowling Tenpin Executive Board has announced the host cities for the World Bowling Championship events for the years 2017-2020. The decision to elect the following host cities was announced Wednesday in Abu Dhabi, where the Executive Board has met following the completion of the Men's World Championships. "We are pleased that we could accommodate for all the
bidding cities and I believe this reflects on the global reach of our sport," World Bowling President, Kevin Dornberger, commented.
