Patchen beat Eagle to win GBT Detroit Open

He defeated Dale Eagle (left), Tavaras, Fla., 226-189, in the championship match Wednesday evening at Imperial Lanes in Clinton Township, Mich. Patchen earned $13,500 for his victory, and for the second consecutive week, Eagle took home a runner-up check for $8,800.

Roth wins inaugural Generations Bowling Tour title in Bay City

Bay Lanes in Bay City, Mich. (Sept. 29-Oct. 5)

2006GBT01MarkRoth.jpg Mark Roth won the inaugural Generations Bowling Tour title by defeating Dale Eagle, 237-234, in the title match of the GBT Bay City Open. The 34-time PBA champion and 4-time PBA Player of the Year earned $13,500 for the victory. "Winning this first GBT event means a lot to me." said Roth. "I want to thank Steve Sanders for giving us this new tour."

Frank Ellenburg named Tournament Director of the Generations Bowling Tour

Rick Hudson named Assistant Tournament Director

GBTLogo_small.jpg The Generations Bowling Tour (GBT) has announced that it has named Hall of Famer Frank Ellenburg the Tournament Director for the new 35 event tour.  The GBT also announced that bowling industry veteran Rick Hudson will work alongside Ellenburg as the Assistant Tournament Director. The GBT is offering $5 million in prize money for its 35 events.

Welcome to the Generations Bowling Tour

GBTLogo_small.jpg The Generations Bowling Tour is a new senior professional tour with over 5 million dollars in prize money. The GBT will feature the greatest senior bowlers in 36 nationwide events beginning October 2006. In addition there will also be over 75 regional events beginning in January 2007. The GBT will also feature Pro-Am tournaments that will include bowlers of all age groups and skill levels.

Tour offers $4 million in prize money for the 2006-2007 season

They were all pals from pro tour days, and they were all smiles about a new senior tour – Steve Sanders' Generations Bowling Tour (GBT). The Generations Bowling Tour is open to men and women age 50 or better, and it kicks off September 29-October 5 at Bay Lanes in Bay City, Michigan. The GBT offers $4 million in prize money for the 2006-2007 season.
