The seminar, which was made possible thanks to the support of the National Olympic Committee of Indonesia (CONI), was organized by Hasrial Arimis, President of the Persatuan Bowling Indonesia DKI Jakarta Chapter.

The three-day certification seminar was held in Aston Marina Hotel which is just a three-minute walk away from Jaya Ancol Bowl. 14 coaches joined the Level One certification seminar with 12 of whom advancing to the Bronze level.

The names of the other coaches that passed the Bronze level are: Hasrial Arimis (President), Loefty Wahjoe, Lita Loefty, Johanes Hendra Batubara, Franky Tandanaki, Lucky D. Krompis, Kushareyanto Sarmanhadi, The Swi Swi, Adhi Latief and Priyono Tanugraha. The other two that took just the Level One seminar are Bayu Fadjar Aini and Glenn Iriawan.

This is the second time that Paeng conducted a USBC certification seminar in Jakarta. The Philippine tenpin bowling legend, who still actively competes up to this day, is a coach on a mission who is taking his role as coach and USBC International Ambassador quite seriously.

"I'm pleased in my role in helping grow the sport in the region by certifying coaches internationally," Paeng stated. "And the coaches who receive their certification will in return develop competitive bowlers and hopefully will put bowling someday in its rightful place in the Olympics."

Paeng has won 123 bowling career titles worldwide and has capitalized on his star power not only as USBC Coach and Instructor but also as USBC Ambassador.

He is scheduled to compete next month in two tournaments in the United States - the 2012 USBC Masters and the WTBA International Open - both at Sunset Station's Strike Zone Bowling Center in suburban Las Vegas.
