In addition to the individual gold medal, O'Keefe (pictured left) brought home the gold medals in the Trio's and Team event at the 2011 Women's World Championships in Hong Kong.  It marked the first time in 24 years that the women's Team USA has won the team title at a World Championship.

O'Keefe also finished first in the 2009 PBA Women's Series Tour Trials and has 22 perfect games.

It's no wonder O'Keefe has a strong sense of sport's competitiveness. Originally from Oregon, she's an avid softball player, having grown up playing fast-pitch softball, where she later earned a full-ride scholarship to Portland State University.

As a college freshman, she was a first team all-American center fielder. She was also recognized at the Oregon Hayward Awards in 2007 as a finalist for Professional Woman Athlete of the Year. At 15, she was recognized as one the final 160 women competing for a spot on the 1996 Team USA Softball Team.

O'Keefe also spends her free time coaching a bowling team of young girls. "They remind me constantly why I love this game and how blessed I am to do what I love," she says.

"I'm truly honored to join the DV8 Pro Staff. It's such a great feeling to know that a company is behind you and has confidence to bring you on board. These new bowling balls are incredible. I'm ready. Let's do this … bring on 2012!"

"We are really excited to add Shan-O-Mac to the DV8 pro staff," said Brian Graham, DV8 Marketing Director. "Shannon's bowling talent, combined with her incredible athleticism, makes her one of the top female bowlers in the world. Her aggressive attitude on the lanes makes her a great match for the DV8 brand."

O'Keefe joins Ronnie "Country Boy" Russell, Brian "Deuce" Valenta, Mike "Choogs" Machuga, and Finnish international, Joonas "JJ" Jähi on the DV8 Pro Staff.
