The qualifying leaders - defending women's champion Tali Itzhak and Or Aviram - were seeded into the championship match, while second seeded Ben Slutzki and Shahaf Antin were seeded into the semifinals.

The quarterfinals and semifinals were contested in best-of-five format on long and medium lane conditions. The championship match featured three games on dual lane condition with the total pinfall to determine the winner.

Joining Itzhak and Antin in the women's championship match was Sara Aviram. The mother of men's top seed Or Aviram started her three-game series with a huge 254 game and never looked back. She added 201 and 149 to wrap up the title with 604 total. Antin finished second with 551 and Itzhak settled for the bronze medal with 546.

Koren took the eighth and last place for the men's finals. He came back from 2:0 deficit to defeat Ben Fishler, three-games-to-two, and advanced directly to the championship match as his opponent in the semifinal, Ben Slutzki withdrew due to illness.

Joining Aviram and Koren in the men's finale was Nati Volpart, who eliminated defending champion Aviv Alfital, in the semifinal, 3-2. The men's championship match was a low-scoring encounter as all three players suffered lots of splits during the three-game sets.

Koren emerged as the winner with 530 total as Volpart and Aviram managed only 497 and 291, respectively.

In a change for 2012, the Israeli Bowling Federation (IBF) has decided, to send the male and female point ranking leader - Or Aviram and Sarit Mizrahi - to the European Champions Cup, Oct. 15-22 at Dolfijn Bowling in The Hague. That decision was made in order to have a better chance to win one of the eight European spots for the 2013 World Games in Cali, Colombia.
