Eduardo Marchandet B., President of the Venezuelan Bowling Federation, passes away



    2009LaRazaEduardoMerchandet_small.jpgWith deep sorrow Jose Guandique, President of the Pan American Bowling Confederation, has informed all member federations and associations of PABCON as well as all member countries of the Federation Internationale des Quilleurs and World Tenpin Bowling Association, that Eduardo Marchandet B (pictured)., President of the Venezuelan Bowling Federation (Federacion Venezolana de Bowling) passed away on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, in Venezuela at the age of 75.

    Mr. Marchandet, who also served as WTBA 1st Vice President and President of the South American Bowling Confederation, was on the board of various organizations and received many international awards. He was a tireless promoter of the sport of tenpin bowling in all national and international arenas.

    In the name of PABCON, Mr. Guandique extends his deepest condolences to Mr. Marchandet's family, the Venezuelan Bowling Federation and all Venezuelan bowlers and expressed his sympathy for the "irreparable loss".

    "Eduardo Marchandet will always be remembered for his great talent and as a great person and a great leader in the sport of bowling," Guandique said. "Eduardo, rest in peace."
