    2013DogBowlManchester.jpg Bowling is set to become Manchester's favorite pastime as Dog Bowl is set to launch on Tuesday, April 2. 2013. Two teams, four bowlers, played a game of 'urban bowling' after dark around the city streets to support the launch of a new five-laner - 10 bowls in 20 locations around Manchester city center.

    They started in Castlefield and worked their way around the city in a large loop, taking in Spinningfields, the Northern Quarter, Piccadilly, China Town, Canal Street and Whitworth Street along the way.

    Dog Bowl will be open 12pm – 3am Monday through Thursday, 12pm – 4am Fridays, 10am – 4am on Saturdays and from 10am – 3am on Sundays.

    One game of bowling will cost £6 off peak (until 6pm Monday – Friday) or £8 on peak (from 6pm Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday).
