Puerto Rico Bowling Federation releases Bulletin No.1 for 2013 PABCON Youth Championships

    PABCONLogo.jpgThe Pan American Bowling Confederation (PABCON) and the Puerto Rico Bowling Federation (FEBOPUR) have released Bulletin No. 1 for the 2013 PABCON Youth Championships.

    The championships for youth bowlers under the age of 16 and under the of 20 will be held at 24-lane Bowling Center Caribe in Ponce, Puerto Rico from July 6-13, 2013.

    The City of Ponce, often referred to as "La Perla del Sur" (Pearl of the South), is located in the Southern Coastal Plain region of Puerto Rico. Ponce has hosted international bowling events in the past such as the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games and the 2011 Olympic Cup.

    Each PABCON member federation is allowed to send up to four boys and four girls in the Under-20 division and up to two boys and two girls in the Under-16 division. To be eligible for the Under 20 and Under 16 division players must not have reached 20 and 16 years of age on Jan. 1st, 2013, respectively.

    PABCON currently consist of 28 member federations: Argentina, Aruba, Bahamas, Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, United States of America, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Virgin Islands.
