Carter is a member of the Storm Bowling Marketing Staff as a Coaching Consultant, responsible for developing Storm's coaching program initiatives.

"We are very excited to have Jeff join our team. Working together we plan to take Boom Apparel to the next level" said Derek Johnson, CEO of BOOM Apparel. "Everything Jeff believes in falls right in line with us, and our vision for the company. This is a great day."

Carter's main focus is his children, Kaitlin, 13, and Trey, 6. He grew up in the lumber and building business, but always had a love for bowling. His Mother bowled professionally for few years, but he chose to go into the family business. In 1999 Carter finally joined the PBA and a life in the bowling business was born.

"It's an honor to join forces with BOOM Apparel" said Carter. "It's great working with people that are passionate about the sport. We already have several things in the works and I'm looking forward to Leaving my Mark...the BOOM Apparel way.

"With the help and support of companies such as BOOM, Storm and Turbo we hope to create more awareness for our BOWLSTRONG Cancer Research Charity". Carter won his first PBA Tour title in 2009 by capturing the GEICO Plastic Ball Championship. Despite nagging injuries in 2009-10, he managed eighth place finishes in the PBA World Championship and season-ending Lumber Liquidators Marathon Open.

Carter owns several Illinois State Bowling Association titles and holds the USBC record for highest league average, 261.74.
