Public invited to submit coaching material for Global Coaching System

    2014WBCConferenceLogo.jpg The International Training and Research Center in Arlington, Texas, will host the inaugural World Bowling Coach Conference from March 28-30 and one key topic for discussion will be the establishment of a Global Coaching System.

    Over the past few months, the World Tenpin Bowling Association was solicited feedback on the coaching certification programs that exist at the federation level. Now, WTBA is seeking feedback from all coaches on their training systems.

    If you have an existing coaching program that you would like to potentially have recognized by FIQ/World Bowling, you are asked to submit your program for consideration to the World Bowling task force. If your program detail is not in English, please send in addition an English summary of the process and materials of the program.

    Your program details may include:
    • Levels of certification
    • Process for certification
    • Testing procedures
    • Training / mentoring procedures
    • Certification level requirements
    • Recertification process if any
    • Background checks if any
    • Program materials / presentations
    • Program last update of materials
    • Program update process / review

    All materials should be sent to coaching@worldbowling.org no later than March 1. FIQ/World Bowling will not use any of your materials without your consent.
