QubicaAMF Bowling Promotion Cup 2014 features six TV Shows; adds Mixed Doubles event

The fifth edition of the QubicaAMF Bowling Promotion Cup will take place from October 5-9 in three cities in western France - Rennes, Châteaubriant and Angers - featuring six televised events for delayed airing on Eurosport 2 and Angers Tele.
Organizer Bruno Bidone of Bowling Promotion has invited 16 players from England, France, Germany, Monaco, Netherlands and Russia.
The ten men will compete in four TV shows in Singles (Rennes), Team (Châteaubriant), Doubles and Masters (Angers). Six men will also compete in Mixed Doubles (Angers).
The men's division features Julien Sermand, Tony Regnier and Thierry Barrault of France, Germany's Peter Knopp, Russians Sergey Andreev, Nikita Koshelev (replaces Vincent Cayez, France, who had to withdraw due to injury) and Victor Krasavkin, Dutchmen Phil Hulst and Daniel Dol as well as Bidone, who represents Monaco. Reserve players are Thibault Larcheveque and Albert Saumureau of France.
For the first time, Bowling Promotion Cup will feature a Team Challenge Match for women at Châteaubriant bowling center to promote women's bowling on TV. The six women will also compete in Mixed Doubles (Angers).
On the women's roster are Isabelle Chevet of France, Russian national team members Alena Korobkova, Maria Bulanova and Daria Voronkova, Bianca Völkl-Brandt of Germany and Kimberley Oakley of England. Reserve player is Nadine Dupuy of France.

Bowling Promotion will be supporting 'Un Strike contre le Cancer' (Strike against Cancer), a campaign of the Bowling Association of Sarthe (CD72), a regional department of the French Bowling Federation, and the league against cancer.
During the Team Challenge TV shows in Châteaubriant (Oct. 7), every player will wear a logo patch 'Strike against Cancer' on his/her shirt.
Mr. Didier Dufour, president of CD72 tenpin bowling, and Dr. Jacqueline Dugay, president of the league against cancer, will present a trophy to the best scratch bowler, man and woman, in the Team Challenge.

Bowling Promotion has signed a contract with French Angers Tele. On Monday, September 29, during the TV show 'LUNDI SPORT', Bruno Bidone, Maurice Lesourd, Thibault Larcheveque & Tony Regnier will answer questions of the journalists.
Three TV Shows (Doubles, Mixed Doubles & Masters) will be broadcast during prime time on Thursday, October 23, starting at 8:30 p.m. CEST in a special 'Bowling Show' featuring the editorial staff of Angers TV. Angers TV is available by clicking here.
Latest news: On October 2nd, Bowling Promotion has signed a TV agreement with TV Rennes 35 regarding the Singles Championship in Rennes. TV Rennes 35, a free-of-charge TNT channel, will air the stage 1 in November 2014.
