The event was held in Yancheng, China, July 21-25, 2015.

2014PBASeanRash2.jpgThe conference offered bowler development for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players and coaches; a best practices seminar in center operations and management; training in lane and general maintenance, pro shop management, ball drilling and demonstrations of the Envoy¬ģ lane machine.

Brunswick training staff included bowler development, pro shop, center operations, and maintenance professionals and PBA staff player Sean Rash (pictured right).

Three days of training in Yancheng was followed by a bowling clinic and exhibition tournament in Shanghai that drew more than 50 participants. The conference attracted local news and television coverage and generated significant social media traffic in China.

"China is critical in our efforts to gain Olympic recognition, given the tremendous growth potential for bowling there," said Kevin Dornberger (left), World Bowling president.

BrunswickBrentPerrier.jpgThe CBF hopes to improve the quality and depth of its coaching and athlete development program in order to become a medal contender as early as the 2020 Olympics. To that end they have partnered with Brunswick for world-class training.

"We're pleased to lend Brunswick's leadership and expertise to support the development of bowling in China at every level, from players through center operations," said Brent Perrier (right), Brunswick Bowling Products CEO.

Brunswick is helping the CBF initiate a comprehensive bowling league and ranking structure and will sponsor PBA bowlers to play matches and exhibitions in China. Plans are already underway for the next education conference in China.
