Gold and two silver medals for Arab countries in Men's Doubles

    2006AsianGamesLogo.jpg Hassan and Bader Al Alshaikh from Saudi Arabia had a high team game of 526 and a low game of 435 to cruise to victory in the men's Doubles in the 15th Asian Games at Qatar Bowling Center in Doha, Qatar. The duo felled 2821 pins, an average of 235.08 over six games. Hassan led with 1429 and Bader contributed 1392.

    All medals went to Arab countries as UAE's Jamal Ali/Nayef Oqab and Abdulla Al Qattan/Saeed Al Hajri from the host country shared the silver medal with 2782 (231.83). Oqab shot the first perfecto of the Games in his sixth game.

    Defending Asian Games Doubles champion Paeng Nepomuceno teamed with former QubicaAMF World Cup champion CJ Suarez and landed in 26th place with 2518 (209.83).
