Chad Murphy joins Ebonite International as Columbia 300 brand manager

    ChadMurphyColumbia300.jpg Ebonite International has chosen Chad Murphy to serve as the brand manager of the new Columbia 300 consumer products line. In this position, Murphy will head the newly acquired division at Ebonite International's Hopkinsville facility.

    "After our recent acquisition of Columbia 300, we began our search for someone who understood the brand and its market inside and out," said Bob Reid, vice president of Marketing at Ebonite International. "Chad brings a solid knowledge of this brand to the table and will be instrumental in integrating it into the Ebonite International family as well as furthering the brand through the development of new products and initiatives."

    Murphy has worked for Columbia Industries in San Antonio, Texas, since August 2001. He has been the brand manager of consumer products for Columbia Industries since early 2006. He has also been the owner and operator of Wichita Bowling Supply since 1996. He also served as the technical tour consultant for Columbia Industries on the PBA Tour from 1998 to 2001.

    In 1998, Murphy was a member of the United States National Bowling Team that won the Silver Medal at the World Tenpin Cup in Amsterdam. In both 1994 and 1996, his team, the Ebonite Nitro/R's, captured the World Team Challenge Grand Championship Finals.
