Asbaty strikes out to become "Queen of the Hill"

    2007PITKotHDiandraAsbaty.jpg Team USA’s Diandra Asbaty made sure the King of the Hill competition turned into the Queen of the Hill at the 2007 Panama Invitational Tournament.

    Asbaty struck out in the 10th frame to win the special match that featured the winners of the open, senior and women’s divisions. Asbaty, who was clearly the crowd favorite, shot a 236 game to best her opponents and earn a $5,000 prize (pictured).

    Open division champion Mike Wolfe shot a 235 game to finish second and take $3,000 and senior champ Vince Mazzanti Jr. had 215 for third and $1,000.
