New look is a fun, interactive way to introduce children to bowling

BowlopolisLogo_small.jpgThe Bowling Proprietors' Association of America (BPAA) announced the re-launch of the new Bowlopolis website (www.Bowlopolis.com). The website, which went live Saturday, Feb. 24, was re-tooled by BPAA Web services to be the destination of choice for introducing bowling to children 8 years-old and younger.

"The new Bowlopolis website allows us to showcase bowling to young children in a fun, interactive way," said Bowlopolis brand manager Natasha Teague. "While on the website, kids can watch videos, learn about all the Bowlopolis characters, basic bowling skills and rules, join the Kid's Club and find a local bowling center to apply and expand upon what they learn."

At Bowlopolis.com children can interact with the world of Bowlopolis through games, puzzles, coloring pages and videos. Visitors can also watch the first three episodes of Bowlopolis for free and centers who use the Bowlopolis brand are listed on the Locator page, which helps to drive consumer traffic.

Teague added the new website will be an important tool in communicating with children adding, "The intent is to make it easy for children to come to the website and be able to enjoy Bowlopolis which, in turn, will get them excited about bowling." She says future plans for Bowlopolis.com call for hosting contests and keeping parents and kids updated on new DVD releases and other offerings.
