The 48-year-old Clermont, Fla., resident will serve as the company's celebrity spokesperson beginning with appearances June 27-28 in the BowlSole booth at International Bowl Expo in Reno, Nev.

"We are very pleased to have someone of Norm's stature as our celebrity representative," said BowlSole Chairman of the Board Tom Marandos. "In this capacity he will help us to develop the BowlSole brand worldwide."

BowlSole is the world's first disposable pad that directly adheres to virtually all types of street shoes and slides the same as regular bowling shoes. Available at select bowling centers, they are targeted at casual bowlers and anyone who dislikes wearing rental shoes.

"We first met Norm at the 2011 International Bowl Expo in Texas last year where he was introduced to the BowlSoles and was surprised to see such a pioneering product," Marandos said. "Since then we have been working closely with Norm and his company Next Level Bowling in developing a strategic relationship."

He captured three titles in the 2011-12 season, the Lumber Liquidators Mark Roth-Marshall Holman PBA Doubles Championship with Wes Malott (pictured left) and the PBA Detroit Open presented by Track and PBA Dick Weber Playoffs presented by Hammer (right) by himself. The 1994 and 2000 PBA Player of the Year won his seventh career major at the 2011 U.S. Open.

"I have been bowling for over 30 years and I have seen many bowling products come and go however I have not experienced such an innovative alternative for the casual bowler," said Duke, the only player in history to win three consecutive major titles.

"BowlSole is a perfect alternative to rental shoes that may not fit well or provide athletic stability. This product allows new customers who have previously shied away from bowling the opportunity to be comfortable in their own shoes."
