Patti Schultz captures title in Ebonite Joliet Women's Open

    20110102PattiSchultz.jpgPatti Schultz (ictured) of Braidwood, Ill., captured the Ebonite Joliet Women's Open at Town & Country Lanes in Joliet, Ill. by 26 pins over Brandi Branka of Momence, Ill.

    Schultz, who had a 3-3 match play record and 2,682 pins including match play bonus pins, received $750, a paid entry into the 2011 Bowling's U.S. Women's Open to be held June 24-28, 2011 in Euless, Tex., a custom-made jewelry set from Matt Cole and an EFX performance bracelet.

    Branka, a McKendree University student finished with 2,656 pins and earned $600 in scholarship funds. Terysa Wojnar of Chicago, Ill was mere one pin behind Branka with 2,655 to finish third worth $500.

    The third event of the five-tournament series sponsored by the brands of Ebonite International will be the Track Wisconsin Women's Open at AMF Bowlero in Wauwatosa, Wis., on Feb. 13, 2011.
