BillSupperIBMHoF.jpgBill Supper (pictured), who has spent more than 30 years in a wide variety of bowling leadership positions, has been named Vice President of Worldwide Distribution by BowlSole Inc.

Supper, a North Richland Hills, Texas, resident, adds his new consultant position to his current roles as managing director of the International Bowling Pro Shops and Instructors Association and executive director of the Bowling and Billiards Institute of America.

“We are honored to have someone as knowledgeable and respected by so many people within the bowling industry joining our new company,” said BowlSole Chairman of the Board Tom Marandos. “Bill will be very instrumental in helping us not only here in the United States but throughout the world where bowling is growing incredibly fast.”

20110525BowlSole.jpgSupper retired last June as executive director of the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame after leading the new shrine’s re-opening in Texas last January. Before that he was deputy executive director of the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America. He previously worked as a sales executive for bowling equipment manufacturers Ebonite International, Storm Bowling Products, AMF, Columbia 300 and Track International.

BowlSole is the world’s first disposable pad that will directly adhere to virtually all types of street shoes and slide the same as regular bowling shoes. They will be available at bowling centers for about the same price as rental shoes. They are targeted at casual bowlers and anyone else who will not try the game because of the thought of wearing rental shoes.

“I have been blessed to be part of the bowling community for over 30 years and have had the privilege of helping companies grow and be major players in bowling,” Supper said. “When asked to be part of BowlSole it was like I could once again be part of growing a new concept and company and hopefully help them become a major player in the industry.”

BowlSole will be featured in trade show booth 424 at International Bowl Expo in Grapevine, Texas, on June 29-30.
