Diana Zavjalova wins gold in All-Events and Masters

Latvia leads medal tally as 2014 Women's European Championships concludes in Berlin

2014WECMastersDianaZavjalova2_small.jpg 135 players from 26 European Tenpin Bowling Federation (ETBF) member federations participated in the Women's European Championships, which was held June 6-14 at Neue City Bowling center in Berlin, Germany. 21 countries sent a full team to compete in all six disciplines: Singles, Doubles, Trios, five-player Teams, All-Events and Masters match play. USBC Queens and Intercollegiate Singles champion Diana Zavjalova, the lone player from Lavia, concluded the Championships with victory in All-Events and Masters match play.



Israel announces Women's Team for 2014 Women's European Championships in Germany

2014WECIsraelTeamTrials_small.jpgThe Israel Bowling Federation has announced the its team for the 2014 Women's European Championships, which will be held from June 4-15 at bowling center Neue City Bowling Hasenheide in Berlin Germany. To qualify for the team, the women had to bowl in a qualification tournament at bowling center Planet in the city of Rishon Lezion featuring 30 games over 6 days. The top five players plus national ranking leader Sarit Mizrahi made the team for Berlin.
