    The host country of Qatar with Ahmed Shaheen, Abdulla Al-Qattan, Mubarak Al-Muraikhi, Bandar Al-Shafi and Saeed Al-Hajri averaged 212,77 to win the gold medal in the five-player team event at the 3rd West Asian Games at Qatar Bowling Center in Doha, Qatar. The five-some underlined Qatar's status as the No. 1 bowling nation among the Arab countries.
