Hong Kong TBC hosts Press Conference cum Luncheon for Community Activities on Monday

Maximum four girls and four boys per country will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in Singles, Doubles, four-player Teams, All Events and Masters, The eight-day competition kicks off with the singles event on Friday.
As part of the activities, the Hong Kong Tenpin Bowling Congress organizes a series of promotional activities to create awareness in the community and among the districts of Hong Kong.

The U.S. National Youth Team has been invited to come three days earlier to participate with the Hong Kong National Youth Team in celebrity charity matches Sunday, August 3, to raise fund for the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals followed by demonstration as well as coaching clinic for athletes of the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee and Sports Association for the Physically Disabled and the Hong Kong Sports Association for the Mentally Handicapped on Monday and for the secondary school students and youth from the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and Po Leung Kuk on Tuesday.
All these activities will be held on two respective day in the official venue, SCAA Bowling Center.

This campaign is in response to a half-year territory-wide campaign "Bless Hong Kong" organized by The Societal Engagement Task Force under the Commission on Poverty.
"Bless Hong Kong" target beneficiaries include grassroots, the elderly, persons with disabilities, new arrivals, ethnic minorities, single parents, and students with special educational needs, etc., through one's own means.

In cooperation with the Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) and the Hong Kong Tenpin Bowling Congress, Bowlingdigital.com will cover the Championships live from Hong Kong.
