Men's European Championships gets underway in Aalborg

    Lovvang Bowling Center in Aalborg, Denmark (June 4-14, 2009)

    2009MECLogo.jpg The 2009 Men's European Championships will be held from June 4 through 14 at Lovvang Bowling Center in Aalborg, Denmark. The Championships get underway Friday with the official practice and the Opening Ceremonies scheduled for 8 p.m.

    The host country Denmark will be joined by 30 other countries, Austria, Azerbaijan , Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Catalonia, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey and Ukraine, in the quest to win medals in the Doubles, Trios, 5-Player Team, All Events and Masters.

    The 8-day competition starts on Saturday, June 6 with the Doubles competition followed by Trios and Team and ends with the Masters on Saturday, June 13.
