John Szczerbinski, Danielle McEwan headed to Russia for QAMF Bowling World Cup

Szczerbinski and McEwan will travel to the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, Russia, to compete in the 49th World Cup, which begins Monday with the first round of qualifying. BowlTV will provide live streaming of the entire World Cup from start to finish.

Winners book the tickets to Krasnoyarsk, Siberia, Russia to represent Switzerland at the 49th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup

Hügin led the women's division from wire-to-wire to finish 229 pins ahead of second-place Bigi Manico. The men's winner was decided in the 29th and last game. Ramsak topped Junior Team Switzerland member Kevin Haasper by mere four pins to take the ticket to Siberia.

In the stepladder finals in best-of-three- game format, top seeded Vieira and Lopez, topped their opponents Fatima Jordão and Alex Fortuna, who both came from the No. 4 seed, two-games-to-none.

In the men's title match between Squad A and B leaders, Azevedo defeated Pedro Lima, 202-188, while Rodrigues topped Elisa Kim, 224-187, to capture the women's stepladder final.

On the women's side, Van der Tol swept national champion Nicole Sanders, 2-0.

It will mark the fifth time after 2002, 2005, 2006, and 2010 that Aviram will represent Israel at the World Cup and the second consecutive year for Itzhak.

Lagrange, who won the women's title in 2009, and Salvati, who had his first appearance at the BWC qualifier, will represent Canada this coming November 15-24 at the 49th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup at Sibiryak Bowling Center in Krasnoyarsk (Siberia), Russia.

The city of Krasnoyarsk in Siberia will host the 49th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup

QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup manager, Anne-Marie Board, has announced that the Sibiryak center in Krasnoyarsk, capital city of the Russian province of Krasnoyarsk in Siberia, will host the 49th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup from 15th to 24th November 2013. The 32-lane Sibiryak center is part of the 'World Class' fitness and Hilton hotel complex, a 250-room hotel which occupies the top eleven floors. QubicaAMF will take all of the rooms for the tournament.

2012 QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup finals scheduled to be broadcast Feb. 28 on Eurosport 2

2012BWCLogo_small.jpg QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup Manager Anne-Marie Board has announced that the finals of the 48th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup, played December 1 at Sky Bowling center in Wroclaw, Poland, are scheduled to be broadcast on Eurosport 2 at the end of February. The channel, which reaches 54 countries in Europe, will show the finals in two one-hour long, back-to-back shows on Thursday evening, Feb. 28. Please check your local TV guide for detailed schedules in your country.

In the title match, Ridhwan swept tournament leader Marshall Kent of the United States, two-games-to-none, to become the first ever Malaysian World Cup champion in the 48-year history of the event. Ridhwan, seeded third, advanced to the title match with a 2-1 victory over No. 2 seed, Andres Gomez of Colombia.

Ng, who lost the first game, 224-269, rebounded with back-to-back wins, 267-259 and 247-169, to deny Guerra's bid for an unprecedented third consecutive title. In the opening match of the three-player stepladder finals, Ng swept Kirsten Penny of England, 2-0.

The qualifying leader started the day with a 91-pin cushion and widened his lead to 138 pins behind an 1874 series including high games of 280 and 267. Kent totaled 6541 and averaged 233.61 for 28 games en route to lead the top 8 men into Saturday's round robin match play.

Singaporean maintains 28-pin lead as the women's field was cut to the top 8 for Saturday's round robin match play

Ng posted the third-best 1832 series to maintain her lead with 6491 total and an average of 231.84 for 28 games. Kirsten Penny of England and two-time defending champion Aumi Guerra of the Dominican Republic were just 28 and 49 pins behin in second and third place with 6463 and 6442, respectively.

20-year-old U.S. bowler tops 82-player men's field after 20 games of qualifying with 233.35 average; Russia's Sergey Andreev hits cutoff number for 24th place with 4177 (208.85)

Starting the day in the pole position, the 20-year-old one-time European Bowling Tour champion added a 1214 series to his three 1100-plus series from the first three days (1132, 1129 and 1192) to lead the 82-player field with 4667 and an average of 233.35 over 20 games.

Rebecka Larsen of Sweden moved from eighth to fourth place by posting the highest 1193 series of day. Blanka Hanusikova of the Czech Republic hit the cutoff number for the 24th place with 3913 or an average of 195.65.

The 20-year-old, who became the second-youngest player ever to win an European Bowling Tour title in the Russian Open in September at the age of 19, rolled games of 237, 264, 225, 222 and 244 for 1192 and 3453 total, an average of 230.30 over 15 games.

The member of the Singaporean national team, who used a 1215 series Tuesday to leap into third place, averaged 249.80 and posted the tournament high 1249 series to lead the field of 69 players into the last qualifying day with 3551 total and an average of 236.73 over 15 games.
