Bowling's major women's events to air in high definition on ESPN2

2011USWOLogo_small.jpgUSBCQueensLogo_small.jpgWomen's bowling will be featured in high definition on ESPN2 for the first time when the USBC Queens and Bowling's U.S. Women's Open take place later this year. The Queens will be shown live on April 27 from the Oncenter Complex in Syracuse, N.Y., while the U.S. Women's Open finals will be taped June 30 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

QubicaAMF will provide four lanes of equipment for the arena tournament including 90 XLi Pinspotters, SPL Lanes, Ball Returns, Foul Detectors, Masking Units and AMFlite II Pins. The event will be nationally televised on ESPN on July 2, 2011, from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas

Patti Schultz captures title in Ebonite Joliet Women's Open

20110102PattiSchultz_small.jpgPatti Schultz of Braidwood, Ill., captured the Ebonite Joliet Women's Open at Town & Country Lanes in Joliet, Ill. by 26 pins over Brandi Branka of Momence, Ill. Schultz received $750, a paid entry into the 2011 Bowling's U.S. Women's Open, a custom-made jewelry set from Matt Cole and an EFX performance bracelet. The third event of the five-tournament series will be the Track Wisconsin Women's Open at AMF Bowlero in Wauwatosa, Wis., on Feb. 13, 2011.

Tracy Luncsford wins U.S. Women's Open qualifying tournament in Rockford, Ill.

20101128TracyLuncsford_small.jpgTracy Luncsford of Des Plaines, Ill., captured the Hammer Illinois Women's Open Sunday Nov. 28 at Don Carter Lanes in Rockford, Ill. to earn a spot in the 2011 Bowling's U.S. Women's Open. Luncsford defeating Plainfield's Nikki Lunsford, 275-255, in the position round match to seal the victory. Luncsford received $750, a paid entry into the 2011 Bowling's U.S. Women's Open to be held June 24-28 in Euless, Texas, a custom-made jewelry set from Matt Cole and an EFX performance bracelet.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, G2 will receive prominent branding including on-site visibility during match play rounds and qualifiers leading up to the June 30 finals at Cowboys Stadium.Ā

MarkMillerExaminer_small.jpgPractice, pro-am, qualifying and match-play competition in the 2011 U.S. Women's Open will be conducted at AMF Euless Lanes prior to the live televised finals at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. The event begins June 24 with open practice and pro-am squads. The main event begins the next day with the first of three eight-game qualifying blocks. The top five players will compete in the 7 p.m. CDT championship round June 30 at Cowboys Stadium. Kelly Kulick is the defending champion.
