Guerrero, Ong post high scores in Block Two at World Ranking Masters

     Petri Mannonen and Reija Lunden, both from Finland, continued to lead the men's and women's field in the World Ranking Masters after 12 of 24 games of qualifying.

    Mannonen had a strong finish to end the second block with 1357, 6-game total and an overall total of 2745, an average of 228,75 for 12 games. Mohd Khalifa remained in second place at 2669.

    Singapore's Remy Ong (pictured) came up strong with the field-best 1399-set to leap into third position at 2661.

     Overnight leader Reija Lunden continued to lead the women's field in the World Ranking Masters after twelve games.

    The Finn, who felled 1263 pins on the short, 33-feet oil pattern yesterday, added another 1259 on the long, 43-feet pattern and has 2522 overall and an average of 210,67.

    World Masters Champion Diandra Asbaty, USA, leaped three spots to second at 2490. England's Kirsten Penny (2483) and Dane Bettina Lund (2470) changed places three and four.

    Making the biggest jump of the day from 15th to 5th was Colombia's Clara Guerrero (pictured), who rolled the highest block of 1335, for a 222,5 average through the round.
