Lagrange finishes with huge game to win the women's qualifying round on long oil at Kegel/USBC World Ranking Masters

    2007WRMCarolineLagrange.jpg Canadian Caroline Lagrange (pictured left) started her eighth game on long oil with a spare then reeled of ten consecutive strikes to seal the victory in the women's division first round with 1885 8-game total and an average of 235.63.

    Her high score was one of two 289 games in the final game, Choy Poh Lai had the other. The Malaysian ended up in third with 1823.

    2007WRMZaraGlover_small.jpg Second place belonged to Zara Glover (right) from England. The three-time World Champion, who led the 25-player field during the first six games after starting with 278, checked in with 1859.

    2007WRMPatriciaSchwarz_small.jpg Asian ranking leader Putty Armein, Indonesia, had a 1742 series to land in fifth position.

    Patricia Schwarz (right), Germany, second-place finisher in the 2003 WRM here at the Kegel Training and Tournament Center in Lake Wales, Fla., was three pins behind in sixth place with 1739.
