    2015WSrCLogo.jpg The 2nd World Seniors Championships 2015 will be held Aug. 23-30 at 56-lane Sam' Town bowling center located inside Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

    208 bowlers, 118 men and 90 women, from 33 countries have registered for the event. To be eligible for the second edition of the championships for men and women 50 years of age and above, players must be born December 31st, 1965 or before.

    The European Tenpin Bowling Federation will be represented by 15 countries, immediately followed by the Pan American Bowling Confederation with 14 countries while the remaining four countries are coming from the Asian Bowling Federation.

    European Tenpin Bowling Federation (ETBF):
    15 - Austria, Czech Republic, England, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Sweden, Ukraine and Wales.

    Pan American Bowling Confederation (PABCON):
    14 - Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela and Virgin Islands.

    Asian Bowling Federation (ABF):
    4 - Australia, China, Japan and New Zealand.

    Maximum four men and four women per country will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in Singles, Doubles, four-player Teams, All-Events and Masters in the six-day competition (Aug. 25-30).

    Singles, Doubles and Team events include six games of qualifying before the field is narrowed to the top four who advance to the semifinals. The winners bowl for gold and silver, the losers share the bronze medals.

    The top 3 players in All-Events (combined scores in Singles, Doubles and Teams) also earn medals. The top 24 in All-Events advance to the Masters finals, which will conclude the Championships.

    In accordance with WTBA Playing Rules Chapter 6, the 2015 World Seniors Championships will be contested on two different lane conditioning pattern, a medium and a longer pattern from the World Bowling bank of patterns. The specific lane patterns within the two categories will be announced at the Team Managers' Meeting on August 23.

    2013WSrCLogo.jpg The inaugural WSrC was held August 10-16, 2013 at Red Rock Lanes in Las Vegas and drew 213 players, 123 men and 90 women, from 33 countries.

    The United States led the medal tally with six gold, three silver and six bronze medals. Sweden won three gold, five silver and five bronze medals. Mexico (1/0/1) was the only other country which brought home a gold medal.

    2014WorldBowlingLogo.jpg Nine of the 14 World Seniors Champions from 2013 will be on hand to defend their titles: Christel Carlsson, Susanne Olsson, Lena Sulkanen, Jan Nordberg and Christer Pettersson (Sweden); Lucy Sandelin, Robin Romeo and Ron Mohr (United States); and Mexico's Teresa Piccini.

    The 3rd World Seniors Championships will be held in August 2017 at Dream-Bowl Palace in UnterfΓΆhring near Munich, Germany, Europe's biggest bowling arena with 52 lanes. The 4th World Seniors Championships will return to Las Vegas in August 2019, this time to at the new South Point Bowling Plaza, which is part of the South Point Hotel and Casino.
