Sweden's Susanne Olsson, Australia's Andrew Frawley emerge as Masters Champions

Conclude 2015 World Seniors Championships in Las Vegas with victory in women's and men's Masters competition

Olsson defeated Lucy Sandelin of the United States, 222-184, in the women's title match, while Singles champion Frawley captured his second gold medal of the event with a 269-222 victory over Lennie Boresch Jr. of the United States in the men's finals.

United States sweeps team gold at 2015 World Seniors Championships

John Chapman (Canada) and Lucy Sandelin (United States) win gold in All-Events; top 24 men and women advance to Sunday's Masters finals

In the men's final, the U.S. took advantage of some early miscues by Australia as they coasted to an 887-675 victory at Sam's Town Bowling Center in Las Vegas. The women's gold-medal match went down to the final frame, with the U.S. outlasting Mexico, 785-754.

Kristina Nordenson captures gold in Women's Singles at 2015 World Seniors Championships

Swede defeats fellow countrywoman Susanne Olsson for the gold medal, 205-181; defending champion Lucy Sandelin (USA) and Tuula Tamminen (FIN) share bronze

In the all-Swedish championship match, Nordenson delivered a key double in the sixth and seventh frames to secure the title with a 205-181 victory. Olsson received the silver medal, while defending champion Lucy Sandelin, United States, and Finland's Tuula Tamminen earned bronze medals.

The 51-year-old right-hander got off to an early advantage in the championship match against top seed Todd Sim of Canada and never looked back, claiming the gold medal with a 224-183 victory at Sam's Town Bowling Center. Sim earned the silver meda, while Alan Keddie, Scotland, and John Chapman, Canada, both earned bronze medals.

2015 World Seniors Championships to kick off in Las Vegas

The 2015 event will feature more than 200 men and women age 50 and older vying to take home medals in Singles, Doubles, Team, All-Events and Masters competition at Sam's Town Bowling Center. All rounds will be broadcast live on BOWL.com's BowlTV. The World Seniors Championships debuted in 2013, also in Las Vegas.

2015WSrCLogo_small.jpg The 2nd World Seniors Championships 2015 will be held Aug. 23-30 at 56-lane Sam' Town bowling center located inside Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. 208 bowlers, 118 men and 90 women, from 33 countries will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in Singles, Doubles, four-player Teams, All-Events and Masters in the six-day competition. To be eligible for the second edition of the championships, players must be born December 31st, 1965 or before.

WTBA and Sam's Town release Bulletin No. 2 for 2nd World Seniors Championships 2015

194 bowlers, 110 men and 84 women, from 30 countries have registered so far; entry deadline now has been extended until August 10; last day to make a hotel reservation and receive the group room rate is July 23

As of the release day, 194 bowlers, 110 men and 84 women, from 30 countries have registered for the event. WTBA has extended the entry deadline until August 10. Star-studded U.S. squad selected for World Seniors Championships

Eight of the best senior bowlers in the country, four men and four women, will represent the United States at the 2nd World Seniors Championships which will be held at Sam's Town Bowling Center in Las Vegas from Aug. 23-30, 2015. On the men's side, the United States will be represented by Lennie Boresch, Bob Learn Jr., Johnny Petraglia and Ron Mohr. The women's squad will be made up of Tish Johnson, Lucy Sandelin, Paula Vidad and Robin Romeo.
