Norway beats Denmark and Belgium to win Trios title at Men's European Championships

Like in the Doubles finals, the No. 3 seed, Norway) and the No. 1 seed, Belgium defeated their opponents in the semifinal to advance to the title match. The Belgians survived a close match against No. 4 seed Finland with Perttu Jussila, Jari Ratia and Kimmo Lehtonen (below left, r-l), 637-629.

The Norwegians ousted No. 2 seed Denmark with Thomas Larsen, Jesper Agerbo and Anders Lousdal (right, r-l), 666-590. Rudshagen made the difference with a 258 game.
The newcomer on the Norwegian national team carried the momentum into the title match and posted another big game with 241. Pedersen had 195 and Ek contributed 170, while the Belgians, who averaged 216 in the preliminaries, had three games between 171 and 205.
Norway bagged its second medal in the championships after winning the silver medal in Doubles finals. Belgium took silver and Denmark and Finland shared the bronze medal.
Action resumes on Friday morning with the second three-game block of the five-player Team event on the long oil conditioning pattern. The top four teams will advance to the finals on Friday afternoon.
