In order to collect the crown, Alvarado, a multiple medalist for Team Mexico, was forced to battle one of the few players in the field who could match her international experience, Martin Methodist's Hayley Beavis, who has bowled for Team England. However, only one star would shine during the title match, and, just as it had been all tournament long, it was Alvarado.
